Nothing looks as charming as a cat dressed up for Christmas, but please beware of holiday hazards.

* A lot of plants, like mistletoe and poinsettias, are poisonous.

* Tinsel and ribbon can wreak havoc on a cat’s intestines.

* Plus the extra noise and excitement can be overwhelming. Especially during the holidays, cats need a quiet place to retreat.
